Dr. Laura Town
Chiropractic
I created Ohana Wellness Co. because I wanted to practice chiropractic the way I believe it should be practiced—with time, intention, and room to truly care for each patient.
For me, family comes first. Building a practice that allows me to be present for my own family while creating a space where other families feel genuinely supported was incredibly important to me. Ohana means family, and that philosophy is at the heart of everything I do.
I specialize in care for moms, babies, children, and families, with a gentle and individualized approach that may incorporate chiropractic care, soft-tissue techniques, craniosacral therapy, mobility work, and other techniques based on each patient’s needs.
I also believe healthcare works best when we work together. I intentionally keep my practice small so I can spend more time with the people I care for rather than letting insurance dictate the way I practice. I participate with select insurance plans, while also offering cash-pay options and superbills for patients using out-of-network benefits.
Because I’m a one-doctor practice, you are an important part of the team. Your feedback, communication, consistency, and willingness to participate in your care all matter. I’ll bring my knowledge and experience to the table, but the best outcomes come from working together.
My goal is simple: to create a place where you and your family feel heard, respected, and cared for—and where chiropractic care can fit into real life, not the other way around.
A Broad Foundation. A Focused Passion.
My clinical experience has taken my through a wide range of patients and settings, ultimately leading me to where my heart is today.
After chiropractic school, I began my career caring for veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs, followed by several years in a high volume personal injury practice. Both experiences gave me valuable clinical perspective and taught me how to care for a wide range of patients and complex presentations. Just as importantly, each chapter helped clarify what I wanted my own practice to look like: thoughtful, individualized, ethical, and centered on the patient rather than volume.
The latter half of my practice has focused primarily on pregnancy, post partum, and infants- areas I've continued to pursue through specialized training and continuing education. Today, I bring that focused experience together with a broad clinical perspective I've gained throughout my career- because while caring for moms and babies is a huge passion of mine, I've never wanted to be limited to one box.
Training with Purpose
A broad clinical toolkit allows me to meet each patient where they are.
I believe continuing education should expand what I can offer my patients - not dictate how I treat them. My training and clinical experience include chiropractic manipulation (both HVLA and low force/no force adjusting), soft tissue and myofascial techniques, cupping and instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation, craniosacral therapy, FDM and MDT. I also have special training in Webster Technique and in infant feeding mechanics and oral tethers. I use these approaches individually or together depending on what makes sense for the person in front of me.
I'd love to meet you.
Let's talk about what's bringing you in and how I can help.
Whether you're looking for care for yourself, your baby, your growing family, or your active body, I'd be honored to be part of your care team. If you think Ohana Wellness Co might be a good fit, I'd love to meet you.
